Case Study: Priory Road (2), Sheffield

“A well organised and executed project from beginning to end”

— Chris & Sarah, Sheffield

25 sq. M space created

8 weeks duration

Standard Sump Pump

Chris & Sarah wished to convert their cellar into one large basement living space. To do this a load-bearing wall was replaced with and RSJ beam to create a large subterranean lounge with gym area. By removing the supporting wall between the front and back sections of the basement, it not only opened up the space, but also allowed for natural light from the window to penetrate deeper into the room.

The new space was subsequently used as an additional lounge and gymnasium area with a bespoke built-in storage unit.

Chris & Sarah’s basement required a internal tanking with a standard sump pump installation connected to an aqua channel perimeter drainage system.
