Battery Back-up Pump System

The Battery Back-up system is an automatic, battery-powered sump solution for basements suffering from fluctuating water levels. Comprising a main sump pump running off mains power and a secondary battery powered pump. The secondary pump turns on in the event of a power outage, primary pump failure or can be used to support the primary pump if water volumes increase beyond the capacity of the primary pump. The battery back-up system is automatically controlled and constantly charges the battery from the mains power outlet to ensure the battery is always fully charged.
The battery back-up pumps installed by Yorkshire Basement Systems are capable of pumping water for more than two weeks with a fully charged battery, giving you piece of mind.
