David and Rachel had a very large basement space which was converted into:
• Two large living spaces
• A workshop
• A utility area
• A shower room
effectively doubling the living area of their home, and allowing them the flexibility to design their space to suit the lifestyle they wished.
David and Rachel’s basement was very wet and has a virtual ‘river’ running through it. In order to ensure the cellar conversion would remain dry a perimeter drainage system was installed to divert the water away from the space, and was supplemented with a twin sump-pump system.
