The Conversion:

Project Duration: 6 weeks

Before the project began, the large single cellar was a typical disused, damp space. The clients required additional space as Chris works from home. Pearl was the driving force behind the project, and initially, Chris was sceptical about expanding into the basement given its drab and dreary state before work commenced. However on completion he was amazed at how light and airy the space had become. Chris now uses the en-suite room created as his office.
In order to achieve some natural lighting, we opened up the bay feature at the front of the property by creating an opening in an internal wall and a light well.
