The clients, Mark and Lucy, required a full basement conversion in line with Sheffield Building Regulations. Before the project began, the space was a standard disused, damp basement covering a large footprint of 52 square meters, and which was split into three areas by the supporting walls. Mark and Lucy wanted additional living space in which to spend time on their hobbies. They required one room turning into music room complete with drum kit, another into a gym area and they also required a utility area with sink, washing machine and fridge and additional toilet.
